Welcome. It's your car. However, I'm a purist re body lines. Most of us are looking for ways to get HP or improve performance, like the breather system upgrade. There's a ton of stuff you can do to the interior at Hookedoncars.com or garage9.

Dropped by at the garage and had a chat with Tony who runs the shop as they've been checking on the fuses and wiring.
Main items to get:
1. Fuel Pump
2. Fuel Filter
3. Timing Belt Kit
4. All other belts for that matter!
5. Brake Pads
6. Brake Discs
7. Oil Filter
8. Airbox
Followed with some pics:

Make sure you get all the vaccum lines checked, the one to the air pump diverter is not connected in the pics, there could be others not connected.
Add a MAF or rebuild to your list too, the one in the car could be bad if that mesh has touched the wire.
Has it really only done 6K or is that a new dash pod?

Looks pretty good...but mind what others have said about the soft fuel lines on the engine....search this forum or the web for '928' and 'fire' if you are unconvinced.

If it reminds of how your dad had it why do you want to change it in to something else.
Porsche got it right in the first place.
Cup wheels and aero mirrors and maybe color code the spoiler is as far I would go.

No sunroof, completely unmolested, and RHD.. very cool
Its an '87 S4 - the VIN will be WP0ZZZ92ZHS84xxxx
87 and 88 had non-digital dashboard without the trip computer etc. Your car has the additional diagnostic connector bolted to the side of the intake, which was only found on '87's.
The engine still has the factory silver colour on the intake and cam covers - be careful what cleaning products are used on it. Anything alkali will cause it to go a dull tan colour. Cars with the original Factory silver are very rare, and it highlights how mint and original this car is.
In your shoes, I'd meet up with the other local 928 owners, replace the 25 year old rubber fuel lines, get a new timing belt and maybe water pump, and plug it into a diagnostic computer (Bosch Hammer KT300) to see if it shows any knock sensor faults or needs an intake refresh. Then put some nice Porsche 18" wheels on it to update the look, and enjoy it.

Its likely really done 6k km's (3700 miles!).
Its pretty common in Brunei.
Check out this '92 GTS another Rennlister has.. he bought it with 960 miles on the clock:

Sorry what's an MAF?
It has done 6K, I've only used it during 2 summers and my old man used to go to and fro to the polo club in weekends.
Um, yeah....isn't it not connected because it plumbs into the underside of the top air filter cover?

+1 on the aero mirrors..
Thinking of getting GTS rear wing..

In the meantime, the VIN is WPOZZZ92ZJS840999 and as Vilhuer posted on his thread https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...ollection.html it turns out that the S4 was manufactured in 1988! The registration card shows 1990! How wrong is that.. lol!
Looks like i'll be making a whole lot of purchases online
==
Now was just browsing through 928speacialists.com and 928srus websites and looks like i'll have no choice but to do a lot of online shopping to restore the engine parts and brakes.
Question; is the Blackbird Twin Air Filter System worth it compared to the standard S4 intake?
I'm very excited on this new project however have to take it step by step!

I was referring to the vaccum line to the diverter and not the air pipe to the filter, I can plainly see that it is missing the filter cover. There might be other lines disconnected such as the multi way one under the air box or even one under the intake if they have been messed with.
Yazid, the MAF (mass flow sensor) is the metal cylinder between the intake and the airbox, it has a wire inside and a electrical connector on the side, it measures the volume of air going into the engine. It needs to be reading correctly, yours has only done a small mileage so it should be ok, unless it has been damaged.
