In reality these can be anything. Gullwing doors, cabrios or ??? What is interesting is that all seem to have VIN in normal ROW range and not 0051-0060 for example. And VIN for '95 GTS is not even close to last ROW car.

I suspect that many of those are "company" cars.

-Meaning, that his "company" which is the Government of Brunei [which is him, essentially] owns many of those cars. Think about it: one of the cars in that list is a Ford Econoline van.

It would be interesting to know which ones he drives himself. Also, note that none of the 928's is a US model.

N!

He is known to buy cars in batches of six. Same model, just different color. Usually drives them only few times and then they are left to rot at one of the large garages used to store his toys. Some high end cars are sold and exported to places like New Zealand (Brunei is RHD country) after staying few years neglected at back of the garage. Usually they require new electronics as climate in Brunei kills them in few years. For some reason some of the garages do not have climate control. Many times also leather is destroyed because of this.

His brother has also very interesting machinery like Ferrari 365 GTB/4 lookalike made from 550 Maranello by Pininfarina etc.

Dauer's are most likely 962 Le Mans racers converted to street use.

The Sultan, being such a big customer, sometimes gets custom cars from some manufacturers. I know Ferrari has made several, I've seeen pictures of a couple of unique ones, including a Ferrari wagon based on the late 90's 456 I think it was. Ah yes, quick search turned it up

456 wagon, 4D sedan and cabrio, two of each at least. Something similar for his brother also. These and several F40's (some made after official production ended) and others were made by Pininfarina so cars will probably have normal Ferrari VINs on that list even though they are far from normal. Except three Testarossa engined Mythos and some other Ferrari specials like Testarossa spyder, FX and F90 models which have strange VINs. Probably too strange to qualify to road use in any western country. It would be interesting to know whats special in those 928's. It really is good to be king.

There was a lengthy discussion on Ferrarichat about this. There was even a guy posting who said he used to work there. Pretty interesting stuff. Heres the link.

There are only 1570 miles of road in Brunei, but I guess that's enough to have some fun, as long as you can avoid the livestock that probably wanders across
