Sharks In Hell - August 4, 2012
#106
Another fabulous event! By my count there were at least 20 928s, plus a smattering of 911s, 944s and 993s.
Thanks to our host Mark (and Karen!) as always. And to everyone that worked hard to make it a success, esp Dennis, Dave, and Andrew (and apologizes to anyone I've left out). And to the 928OC and the 928 vendors who sent raffle prizes for their support.

It was hot as Hell much of the day, but there was enough breeze off the lake to make it almost pleasant. And this year the rain held off until well after dark.

I think the total count on 928's was 26 with the 10 to 15 owners with non-runners (should have called Roger ) that showed put us close to 45 ! Thanks to everyone that came and hope to see you all next year in Hell.

Yes, thanks to all who came and supported the event; I feel recharged and ready to get back into the 928 game. Hell was just what I needed!
The SuperShark made it out and back without issue, but I've got to find out what ripped the belt like that. I guess that Camboinc had the same type of damage from his belt walking into a bracket, so that'll be one of the things I look at, too.
Again, thanks guys-- great sausages, Steve!-- and it was good to see old friends and make some new ones.

I got hame to an eavestrough downspout off the neighbours house laying on my car.SAME FENDER AS LAST YEAR, DAMN!
Fell and hit my car atop the drivers door and then scratched all the way to the marker light in the front bumper.
oh well accidents happen. I had an awsome weekend in Hell and and in a good mood right now. I will definatly be back next year with a running car.

Had one Hell of a time in Hell as expected, GREAT host(s) and good people the 938 group are the best enjoy Dennis's 82 4.5 w/ euro heads and cams, once again voted the best sounding 16 valve.

Glad everyone is home safe. I'm just sitting down at my workstation with a bunch of video and photo's.
I think I need to let my thoughts on how to edit this stew for a while.
