I thoughts had posted Yesterday, but don't see it. Hmmmmm....
Anyway, thanks to all who showed up. BIG THANKS to Mark and Karen for hosting the event as always and letting us trash the joint. Thanks to Dennis and Sue for all their hard work and also Dave K ( nice vids!).
Thanks to all the out-of-towners for making the trek in. Thanks to the locals too.
Special thanks to Munks Motors, Rob Budd, and Roger Tyson for helping sponsor the event. It gets better every year.
I particularly enjoyed working on Mark's clutch with Chaadster, Hand, Kurt, and Dave. It was great wrenching with you boys.
Brent and Anne, hope you make it back safe. That GTS it pretty darn nice! Good score!
Pics up later today.

What a great weekend. I would like to thank all of the sponsors (928 Owners Club, Roger Tyson, Munks Motors, and Robert Budd).
Thank you for coming and making this such an enjoyable event for us. Big thanks to Dennis, Dave, and Andrew for helping organize the event again this year, and to our Canadian friends for manning the BBQ on a hot day in Hell.
As usual, being the host of any event like this I don’t get a chance to talk to all of the people that attended, and if I did, it may have been a very brief conversation because something needed attention (BBQ out of gas, jet ski out of gas, pontoon boat won’t start , you only have two hammers to get your clutch out, …). It was fun for me, Karen, and the boys to everyone having a good time. We look forward to this event every year and it is a great motivator to get the cottage fixed up and the 928 ready to go each summer.
I spent most of the day on the water (pontoon boat rides, jet ski rides, and pulling kids on the tube behind the jet boat). It was great to see the kids having such a good time at a car event. While I was having fun on the water, Dave, Chaad, Andrew, Kurt (and a few others that I may not have seen) were busy dropping my clutch, installing a pilot bearing, and putting the clutch back in (at least a couple times). Saturday was the first time I have driven my car with confidence for more than a mile in almost two years since I blew the engine. Big thank you to those that worked on my clutch. And Roger, thank you for the overnight pilot bearing shipment. Now that the mechanicals are sorted, I can install those aero mirrors that I painted 3 years ago, new hood liner, … to make it look purrrrty.

Weekend from Hell
It was another awesome weekend in Hell. Thanks to Mark and the Michigan crew for hosting a great event. My sons really like coming to this event every year. I am glad that the Canadian contingent was a little bigger this year with Steve and Adam joining in the fun. Hey Steve, sorry to hear about the engine in your GT.
Andrew, thanks for leading the trip to Milliken's. That place was great. Oh and thanks for waiting when Adam and Steve pulled in for gas. :-)
Here are some pictures.

Here's a Little Riddle for you that Haven't been to Hell and Back.
Beer
and Brats
Plus Cool Cars
a Little Work
a Lot of Food
and Drink
Great Prizes
Where all are Welcome
Forced to Induce
a Little Silliness
a Lot of Craziness
Equals a Wee Bit of Happiness
What's Wrong with this Equation?
Nothing, Thanks to Mark & Michigan crew, Hell Rocked!

I have them flipped already. Will do some more work tonight on the files. Blurring plates and driver faced etc before I post.
They would have been done except I took the family to marineland.

I'm working on the video. But it's going to be more work to blur out the plates in the video files. I would have to move the project to Final Cut to complete this task.
I know up here it can be an issue as the police are a bunch of money hungry *** holes, and regularly troll the net.
Please let me know if you have any concerns with your plate showing in the videos from Saturday. If everyone is fine with it I will post it, if a one or two are not I will delete those clips. If everyone wants them blurred I will move the project to Final Cut and spend the extra time blurring them.

I would make sure everything is edited as much as possible. I'm sure no wants a ticket in the mail...
