928 GULL WING or SCISSOR (LAMBO) doors ?

Strosek and other modifications like this pondering remind me why car designs are best left to the (good) car designers. Nothing looks worse than aftermarket body parts and modifications on an otherwise beautiful car.
For example:
Put gull wings on a Pontiac Aztek, that would be an improvement, because Homer Simpson designed it.
Someone once told me, or I read, that Porsche considered gull wings for the 928. This apparently justified someone doing it, which resulted in something that looked like a DeLorean knock-off. In the end you have to realize they considered them (operative word: consider) vs. executed. And you don't own a DeLorean, you own a Porsche.

I agree that the 928 should be left alone, with one reservation...
The 928 doors are so damn long that I often wish it was easier to get into the car when parked close to other cars. The Lambo door would accomplish this most practically....
Not saying I would do it, but it would sure make the car easier to live with sometimes...
