I'm afraid it's time. I've only had the car for a little over a year, but as thinks that take my time come up, I have little time to complete the restoration.
I drive the car on Fridays to and from work, about a 100mi rt, but I'm not able to get to the little things that I should do... rear seat covers to match the new front seats, rear cargo area carpet, heater vacuum diaphram, find the bad solder joint on the CC board and the leak in the AC system...and paint.
I could just let her sit in the garage, but I need to put up sheetrock in the garage, among another 200 projects to get done this year.
Gauging interest if anyone wants a very dependable OB, newer turbo twist wheels (still have phone dials too) no sun roof, no rub strips. It's never let me down.
You remember this car. It's in my sig, and here from when John had it for sale:

It's a very straight car - would like to see $5500 ORO. Let me know if you're interested by PM. Thanks.

I was never sure if he was totally serious, but that being said, I will gladly give John first option to reclaim the Blueshark. Thanks for the reminder.

Thanks for thinking of me and the heads it up was available, but I cant buy it back right now. I may have to do sink more money into the daily driver Jetta TDI. I just picked it up after a new clutch job and now it makes more noises then when i took it in. Sounded expensive.

Price I think is possibly > $5,000.01 but really should be a hard number, correct?

John,
I've thought it would be nice having an OB. However; I'm thinking maybe it's time to sell my S4. Then I take it for a drive, and think damn I really LIKE the shark.
