If you are willing to come to Youngstown. There is a really good mechanic. That used to work at Armondos Porsche. But he left, and opened his own shop right across the street from the Porsche dealer.
Hes expensive, but knows the 928 well.

Steinel's in Twinsburg is my place.

I assume you are referring to the southern Ohio Springfield? We have a Springfield here near Akron, also.

P3 Automotive http://www.p3automotive.com/
This guy has had 928s and now works on 911's High dollar. he is down to earth.
he helped me tighten the tension on my way 3,200 mile trip home from picking up my 87. Didn't charge me a dime, but I forced cash on him.

Hey Freed, What did you get? Can you post some pics? from your sig it looks like an s3. I just got my 1st s3 and am working through its laundry list? If so, welcome to the s3 club. Porken is one dude you want to look up, just search his signature. He is an awsome engineer and had lots of goodies to help the little sweet s3 go just a wee bit faster.... I knew that there must be tons of sharks in Ohio as I bought 2 out of my last 3 from there and both turned out to be great cars.

Glad you are connecting with those guys.

I was looking at this from time to time. Lovely. I think you are really going to enjoy it. It does have Hawaii plates on it. My '88 has been in honolulu its whole life and does not have a spot of corrosion, and it has not had anything like the care this one has had.
