Are you going to have it at work this week Mark? Would love to come by and take a look. I promise not to drool directly on the car.

Funny, I stopped by today and while Mark was showing it to me I kept thinking "don't drool on Mark's car". It is pretty amazing looking in person, stuff on it I haven't seen on any other cars like the rubber bumper things around the hood on the fenders, and all the still shiny cad plated bits I never guessed were really that way from new.

Mark is obviously having too much fun owning it too.

Thanks for all the congrats. It's nice to be driving a 928 again. I forgot how nice they feel when fresh.

Last time I saw you drive a 928 you were clutch hopping through the paddock at Laguna and then went out and had over a second a lap on the field. That was sweet.

Congrats on the beast, what a beauty.

That's a great looking '84, Mark - Congratulations on your new acquisition! I've always liked the resilience of the 16V engine - and this particular low mileage, excellent example is in great hands. Well Done!

OMG Mark, that car is just beautiful. One of my favorite all time sharks was a black 84 that the Greensboro vice squad had. It was just awsome. Same mechanic that worked on mine also worked on theirs. He was backing it out one day and I just fell in love with the sound. Mine at the time was an 83S but that black 84 sounded way more wicked than mine ever did and mine was no push over. Eric (the mechanic) had more little peformance tidbits under his cap than anyone I have ever known. That, however was almost 20 years ago. Damn how time flies...

So the things I want to address first and have aleready started are as follows:
Replace K&N with stock
replace a fan should washer that did not have the correct cad plating
replace shrink wrap on a/c pressure switch that was the wrong color
add missing jumper post cover
replace door panel mid range speakers and grills with stock
replace non factory negative battery cable
add missing headlight rod clip
replace non factory a/c clutch
add missing underpan
I'd also like to put a factory Blaupunkt Monterey but I don't have one. Anyone out there have one they'd like to sell?
