No pistons or crank?

Kevin - no thank you. Just the bare block. I have more cranks than I know what to do with. If you don't want to strip the crank and pistons out of it, just leave them and ship as is and I will disassemble when it gets here.

Don,

Because of the sludge, I'd recommend you double-bag it. It will go in the dishwasher when it gets here so no worries. (Just kidding, its a parts washer).

The bare block with no cradle doesn't weight that much. UPS is fine. Just box it up.

You can print a shipping label to tape on the outside of your box here:
http://www.928motorsports.com/shipping/

If you have a PayPal account, just let me know and I can PayPal you the $. If you would rather have a check or a store credit, let me know. Whatever you want is fine. Thanks for supplying the block.

No problem, was just asking before I start the process.

Thank you. Remember I need the block WITH lower cradle. Your cracked block will be welded, bored, and sleeved with steel sleeves.

On blocks for "Coffee Tables" I do not need the lower engine cradle.

Thanks Kevin. I hope I can acquire your non-cracked squirter block as well.

Immediate need for the following items:

Cold Air Funnels from the tops of early radiator fan shrouds (see post #65 in this thread)

Early front spindles (78-79 and 80 non-"S" type)

Automatic trans flywheels with 60 or 100 tooth timing rings on them.

Rear transaxle cross-members - 1987-1995 Manual and/or automatics.

Let me know hat you have and we'll talk. I pay for the shipping.

Carl,

I believe I have two auto flywheels, not sure about the 60/100 part. Just count the teeth? What are you paying for them?

I will pay $60 cash for each flywheel with a good timing ring on them, or an $80 in-store credit.
Really doesn't matter to me if they are 60 tooth or 100 tooth. I need both. We remove the timing ring and install it on our aluminum flywheels for our customers.

Shipping - please ship cheapest way (I'm paying for it and not in a hurry) I will reimburse you actual shipping costs once the part arrives. Box and pad them well. The flywheels must arrive with all the teeth undamaged.

Carl,

I've never looked very closely at the flywheels before, but both of the ones I have have 58 teeth on the smaller ring, which I guess is the timing ring and it looks like 2 teeth are missing in one spot. Both flywheels have this gap in the teeth in the same spot and it doesn't look like any teeth were ever there, so just want to confirm mine are good.

How about a good used Behr radiator, no leaks or a 3 year old Bosch alternator?

Both work great, just upgrading to aluminum rad and hi amp alternator.

Carl,

May I ask what you are doing with the Cold Air Funnels? I was going to send you mine, but then I thought I might try to fab something to get some cold air going to my supercharger intake.

Then I saw Dave's (j.kenzie@sbcglobal.net) intake, and I am wondering of you are now making what I had in mind. Does he have an updated part that utilizes a cold air funnel?

Thanks,

Don - you are describing the "60-tooth" timing ring perfectly. That's the way look, sometimes also referred to as "60 minus 2"

Please proceed.
