Default Any experiences with Michellin Pilot Sport A/S Plus Tires

Looking at getting these for my rear in 275/40/17 to slow down wear and increase cold weather traction as it rarely gets warm enough here to warrant UHP summer tyres. I drive in a temp range of -5°C to 30°C (approx 25°F to 90°F)

Has anyone had experience with these tyres on their 928?

Thanks,
Myles

I have these on my 91 S4, have about 20,000 miles so far and I am happy with them. Temp range for me is 10 F to 100F. They are good in dry and wet, little experience in snow as I have. 4wd truck for that. But I live in the mountains of NC so getting caught in snow is possible. I'd buy them again.

Thanks m750rider. Any idea how many miles you expect to get from them?

I had them two years ago. Went well in light snow. I got about 11,000 out of mine. Drove them hard though. Excellent wet weather and cold weather traction. Looking at them again cause my UHP summer tires don't go so well in the cold and they are worn out from DE this year.

Well woth the price. Quiet and comfortable.

I think I'll get 30,000 miles out of them without too much trouble. I am easy on tires, plus mostly highway driving.

I love these tires. I have them on my MB AMG CLK55 and wife's Jaguar XJR. No 928 to put them on yet. Great in dry and rain, quiet and won't break the bank. Expect 20k plus.

Thanks for the replies. All I have to do now is figure out how to get them here (NZ). Michellin, Pirelli, Continental, BF Goodrich, Bridgestone etc etc do not import this size in any tread pattern.

Cheers,
Myles
