Injector options
Got my LH spider from England yesterday (best Xmas gift ever) , but I'm not sure what injectors I will need..... For my L-jet set up I got Carls L-jet " replacement" injectors but I had to drill out the holes so they would fit, due to the ledge u see just inside the injector hole. I don't mind milling the hole out, just need to do it before they get cleaned and coated.

The Euro LH runners are for the 24# high impedance barbed top hose connection. What power are you aiming for ? Boosted ? Using the 24# injectors and S4 FPReg at 55psi as against the S2 35psi may be enough for a mild power increase. (You will get 25% more available fuel flow)

I'd like to get away from barbed Injectors, thinking of boost in the future. But injectors are easy enough to swap. Looks like I will need to do some drilling! :-)

All Bosch style injectors will fit the intake runner hole, I use 48# Venom Injectors. Just change the pintle cap, make or purchase a fuel rail, and convert the EMS

Thanks for the heads up Tony. Does that mean any high impedence injector will work in an L-Jet manifold as long as you use the stock low impedence pintle cover on the new injector? (I'm planning on using a different fuel rail)

Adam L-Jet are low impedance, you can not use hi impedance injectors with L-Jet.
I'm using Haltech EMS and changed the pintle cap to accept Bosch one hole hi impedance injectors, (the Bosch injectors in the pic are high impedance). Made my own fuel rails to accept the o-ring top injectors.
You can still purchase low impedance injectors that flow more than the OEM 24#. But L-Jet is so old and I bet your engine wiring harness is starting to crumble time to upgrade everything.

High impedance = low drive current.
I think it works backwards to what you said, you can't use a low impedance injector with a high impedance brain, but either work with a low impedance brain.
