Default '89 5 Speed - DC CL $3,600..for real?

The posting's gone. Either someone got a smokin' deal, the guy forgot a "1" after the "$" or it's a scam.
Anyone know of this?

Well he says good examples rarely go for over 5K. So the price sounds legit. Unless the "1" key on his computer was broken. But he did type 911...

Good examples (of an 89 S4 5-speed) rarely go for over 5K??? Uhhh...

Contact the guy and find out that the car is actually located in some other part of the US, but he'll pay shipping, etc...

Could also get a drive home euro which will be just as fast and is smog legal and registered with only a few issues right here:
(Nice color combination too, 5 speed, with a supposedly flawless engine/drivetrain)

Since it is NOT an S it only has about 230 HP so no it would not be nearly as fast. And the lack of Euro fender lights is cause for questions about body damage, fender replacement. It is a Euro rear bumper cover however.

I may be wrong but it appears to have a sunroof switch but no sunroof and how hard would it be to pop in a euro rear fog light? Vinyl seats that came out of a 911 maybe?
It has possibilities however.......few margaritas, plus a few expresso's and it will be a GTS in no time

The San Diego car is discussed here:

https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...san-diego.html

I saw this car and left some details in that thread.
