IMHO, still too many variables here. Different belts. Different cameras, lenses, focal lengths, shooting distance, etc.
Best I can do quickly with available photos is this, but I could do way better with the parts in hand. I'd like side views of a couple of teeth from both gears at a resolution of at least 10 times what I've seen so far (i.e., on a scale more like this example, a bearing that many of us are familiar with that's 14 mm in diameter).
Post #138 definitely shows some significant gaps between the belt and the tops of the gear teeth. So... time to wrap the exact same belt around Carl's gear and a Porsche gear and see what that reveals.
Be careful about drawing conclusions from this animation; source material isn't that good, and I'm pretty sure the scales aren't quite identical between the two photos.

As Roger said, not to be negative, but I see the gaps and that would be a sore spot for me as extra movement in the tooth area will mean extra ware.
I did not know that it was not a gates belt and will like to see how the pictures look with the other belt on a 04 gear

Well if your manufacturer used laser profiling to match these gears to the genuine factory ones, and they are not matching, there should not be a problem for them to cover the cost and redo the manufacturing to make them match.

You guys keep saying that some are beating a dead horse, but you also do not understand that there are many, many different tooth profiles out there, some of those are very close to what we have on our cars. Those same ones that look close will shred a belt in less than 10k miles. Most of us want to be sure of what is available is good to use.
People went round and round about what water pumps are good.
People still argue about oil.
I didn't take Porkens word that the tensioner was a good set up until it had been around for a while and tested.
The same for something as important as cam gears needs the same scrutiny. Personally, I'd love to have one of these in hand to do my own comparison so I can make up my own mind.
