actually, they look pretty good. now you just need to square off the inner ends and join the two together with a similar sized piece of ABS black plastic. but, it might have to be supported with a wire or several wires if produces downforce.

Mark, I see no downforce goal or result in anything Carl has posted. He removed his splutter and taped the nose very much like a stock early S4 and gained significant slipperiness.

Well, I have a post-OB or OB, and not an S4 in the front.
And, yes the thoughts were about down force on the front corners,
It is just a thought

Developer
I am developing a racing splitter with removable and disposable bottom plates.
The bottom plate is foam core composite material, light, stiff, and fairly inexpensive.
The mounting plates are aluminum and bolts on to the frame. No holes required or modifications to the car.
The splitter can be tipped up in the front to allow easy loading onto a trailer.
The bottom plate is designed to break away in case of a serious impact, and is meant to be disposable.
Remove the broken remainder, bolt a new one to the mounting uprights, and get back out on the track.
This is based on a design I have raced for several years now, and we have it refined fully. I have no pictures of it yet, sorry.
I need it by Spring myself, so you know I'll have it ready by then.
Just an FYI...
