Picked up a rebuilt steering rack and new steel ball joints from Roger. Dressed up the motor a bit. T

wow. that's a perfect fit. Looks incredible.
You going to drive it or trailer it. I'd be a wreck driving this one on freeway.

Tony, have you seen the Borla induction systems available for your LS motor?
Really beautiful. http://borlainduction.com/v8_kits/v8...76_pic1_lg.jpg

Looks awesome Tony!

Is there any way to get the air filter out of the engine bay? In TX summer heat that motor will be pulling in some really hot air with the filter in that location.

Fixer, You said on post 392 and I quote "that's a perfect fit, Look incredible" Now you want me to spend big $$ installing a Borla induction system They do look great on older Hot Rods sans hoods, but think we will be staying with the tried & true stock GM injection system.

Thanks Cramer. Thinking of designing & building a belly pan to vent cooler air from below. T

The over-the-radiator Corvette runner intake would work to get the filter in front of the radiator. Looking good T.

Rob, Did have a look at these and others. They appear to block incoming air to the A/C condensor & radiator and just don't like the way they look. T

Runner would look damn good in that gold
I have a dual split filter that I will add later in front the radiator when the supercharger gets mounted. I don't see it blocking much air.

Can you post how you did your battery cable, alt. cable, and/or starter main cable?

Dinsdale did a beautiful job with all the wiring. Will take pics of the batt, etc cables next time I'm at the shop. If you need pics now for your build, contact Dinsdale and have him take a few pics for ya. T

My main wiring is done, waiting on custom harness to show. I found the factory battery cable connects perfectly to the lower driver's side mounting location of the GM alternator. I just piggy-backed off the alternator to the starter main and 3-point loom main with large 4-gauge wires.

No, I don't want you to spend more $. Just wanted people to see the kind of stuff available, I thought you'd react that way..
They are supposed to fit as low as stock intakes however.

I wish this kind of stuff was available for the 928, that's the beauty of the chevy/ford motors there's so much available.
J.P. Looks great.

If I were building an old school, open hood Hot Rod, an Inglese or ? induction system would be make sense. This build has been designed & planned well in advance and will maintain an exterior "sleeper" look with modern day performance, handling, braking, etc. These LS 376/525 motors are dynoing between 550-560 crank hp right out of the box with stock injection, no tuning, and fetching 28-30mpg hwy. Stock injection stays and looks good from my house.T

Dinsdale just finished up fabricating the A/C, fuel, and PS lines. Very nice & tidy install. T
