I like the color in the sun it looks quite a bit deeper and more gloss than the paint on the Porsche 911 that I saw the other day
Purchased slightly used condensor fan & dual spa electric cooling fans. Fikse Classic Mag rims. Fr: 17 x 8.5, 62mm, 1.0" outer rim. Rears: 17 x 10 56mm 2.0" outer rim. Red Koni's painted black. Paint does look great in the sun Stan, thanks,T

Sounds like you have a great set of wheels on the car.
Come on hurry up,
cant wait to see the fire in the hole on this project.
That Dinsdale guy sure does nice work,
I hope you get him something nice for his time.

Measured up & ordered what's needed for the exhaust today. Trying out a couple different brands of mufflers. T

Thanks again Matt. Custom exhaust loosely fitted up. Will weld it all up after Dinsdale does his thang. Back to the shop. T

Looking good Tony!
Is that the Magnaflow universal cat? Did you get the heavy metal one or ceramic?
Looks like a 3 inch exhaust or did you go bigger?

Cheers!

Wow getting closer and closer, this part of the restoration is the best, you enjoy every moment.

Just Peachy-with that quick shifting 6-speed, will suck the headlights out of a new Carrera. They weigh more with far less power. I don't know if you'll have the traction though from a stand still.
How wide are the rear wheels and tires??

Sounds good,

17" x 10" rear wheels should be fine.

Look forward to hearing the real thing. Matt

Tony, did fitment of the 10" wide rears require rolling the inner rear fenders?

Thinking i should do that now if so. I'd like to fit something wide in the future.

I, Credit goes to Dinsdale. Matt, definetly roll rear fenders before paint. Picked up a childs bat from Walmart, cut just the handle off and started rolling with the small end. Worked great. T
