I was going to reach out on Friday, sorry guys....I was there from Northern VA, it was the least I could have done...other than the 928 dissappointment, the even was over the top.

Abby,
The 911 owners here in Vegas are "clickie", and act like snobs towards other models of Porsche cars. Also they don't mingle with the other exotic car owners. I have to say that the Cobra owners act the same way too.
Personally, I could care less. I like my 928 reguardless of anyone's opinon. Thats why I bought it.
FWIW, the Pantera owners, and forum can't hold a candle to this forum or 928 owners in general. A real fun, and great group here!

I was at the Rennsport Reunion, having ridden there in Nicole's 91 S4 - my car was at home on the lift. I know of 5 other 928 owners who attended. We were in general parking. We got a thumbs up from a 911 turbo owner during the ride down Hwy 1 - at least I think that was his thumb.

I brought the GTS from Oregon. I was surprised at how few 928s there were in the Porsche corral, and even more surprised at how few 4 cylinder water cooled Porsches were there. But it sounds like there were more 928 owners who parked outside the corral. Rich Andrade must have been there, because he left his card on my car - probably because we both have Amazon Green GTSs.
Anyway, the event was a blast - even my wife enjoyed it, and she's not a car person. I'd been wanting to go to one of these since the first, so I couldn't pass it up when it was this close.

So who wants to join me in making the commitment to attending the Porsche Parade in SLC next year?
It bookends with the OCIC in Wichita. Not a bad drive between the two.

Some racing video shot from the iPhone (sorry it's not HD..) P.S. I love the sound of the downshift on the GT3 into the corner.

When the PCA held the Porsche Parade in Colorado a couple of years ago they invited me to put my car in the Historical and Heritage display at the concours. I was to get a special trophy for it. Sadly family commitments came up and I could not attend.

I was one of the 4 or so 928's parked way in the back of the corral, against the hill. There were a few 944's and 924's in a row with 928's, and then about 1300 911's....
I've certainly met my share of 911 snobs, but most of the PCA events I've been to were pretty inclusive.
As for Mark, he hasn't heard what those 911 guys say about him when hes not around..respected, yes. Reviled for making them all look like monkeys with toys...
