What t-shirt size do you wear? Help for a new brand launch

I primarily wear t-shirts, and I will NOT wear a shirt that is too big or baggy. Also, if I can use the shirt as a dress (made to be tucked in) I'm not wearing it.
I'm kinda in-between sizes actually. I find that the shirts that fit me really well are the plain colored T-shirts from Old Navy in Large. They are pretty much perfect and I'm pretty normal sized. Plus they cost something like $5.

no tags in the collar or inside..(or maybe ones that are easily removed)..... Just got a basic tee from Zazzle (made by Hanes)...and it had the size printed right on the inside of the shirt..no tag at all....

^^^ Agreed! I forgot to mention that those Old Navy shirts don't have tags.

Judging by the responses, I think many of you will be very pleased with some of the features, styles, and shirts we are using (I won't name specifics, but many of the things folks pointed out are things that have been on the front of our minds). Keep an eye on the blog for periodic updates and other information, and once items are ready for sale, you guys will be the first to know! Thanks again.
Cole, you got it right--that is the boss man. We will have more bios up soon.

depends on whether the sizing is accurate and what the cut of the t-shirt is. Some online retail places let you pick now. I find it frustrating that sometimes an XL fits great, and sometimes as blousy and droopy. I'm buying L more often now, so I'm not swimming in the midrift or having it drape down too low. On the other extreme, I went to an England based retailer and the largest in stock was an XL and it was super think and skin tight- not something I should try to pull off any more.

The better the quality the more we wear them and I think all of us would pay a bit extra. For me I really dislike rubberized images on the back
Small logo on the front and larger image on the back.
A classic example is that what Porsche offers for hats. $25 hat....to much? NO. the quality like the cars is
about the best you can get.

Mark, Smart poll on your part. Give the people what they want in design and sizing, and order the appox amounts of those particular sizes. Barry also had a good point about color. Offer some "T"'s in darker colors, re: grease brown, transmission oil red, dirty oil black, so we can work on our cars with them on. Can also throw in a free "T" on orders over $ _ _ _.00 or more ? Customers would like this, and it would help promote your business .02 T

That is one of the big problems with T-shirts from a none clothing business....people tend to expect them for "FREE"....or dirt cheap. While not maybe as self promoting as writing and publishing a vanity book it can be looked at as free advertising.
