I have a '91GT motor (out of ErnestSW's car) sitting on the shelf that had 80k on it when I pulled it. You can buy it for $5,500 or I might be interested in the GTS if more was known about its past and present.

Or, we could marry the two at the shop in Carson City for a third party.

Or. we could put an LS motor and tranny in it for you.

Sorry about your project. I would be all over it if I were only closer, had money, and had any skills .

Do the math people....Heinrich's $10,000 GTS roller + Larry's $5,500 GT motor = $15,500

Sell off GTS motor parts ~ $2,500

Total = $13,000 + your own labor is one sweet ride....

But in that case you end up with a 91 S4 not a GTS. Right?

Okay $2k for a base Renengade kit.....depending on what you want, you can source an iron block truck LS engine (same weight as 928) for CHEAP...well under $1k for a running engine with computer and everything...with slight mods like cams-heads its near 500hp....still for cheap....with boost...its stupid...

the GM Performance parts hot rod LS3 is 480HP and under $7k.....with a 2 year warranty....

I'd bet Mark Anderson has some experience with the transport of non-runners to the Anaheim area. 1-714-632-9288..

http://www.autotransport411.com/inde...SR6gwodYwXP2Qt Get 10 quotes. It's usually just a little more to ship a non-runner. T

That's a sweet project that wouldn't take a lot to have a really nice shark! Wish I could move on it!
