Arrow How to expand / increase the rear fenders 928 S4 ?

Hi!
I need advice.
I put new wheels on the rear axle 928 S4.
R-18 E 27 RH12 J9 tires 255/35/18

With a sharp pressed the gas pedal pressed to the car behind the road, the arch a little bit hurt gums (seen in photo).

How to extend the rear fenders 928 S4?
Only option GTS-style Fender Flares for the Porsche (928motorsports)?
Or are there other options?

Sincerely, Sergey

Here are a couple of interesting threads by Mark Benton:

This one addresses the rear fenders:

I suspect the problem is the offset of the wheels, or you have spacers installed. With the correct offset you can fit a 295 tire in the S4. Many here have done it.

When he stepped quickly on the gas the fender lip hit the tire and damaged it a little. And yes he has the wrong offset, the wheel shows too much outer lip....
I have no idea how to try to explain that.....

Maybe you're right. The disc has nepravelnoe shift. This drives the 911. Unfortunately in Russia is difficult to find the original disks for a beautiful Porsche. I have to use discs that I have. I think the only solution is to extend the rear arches.
It just seems that the $ 545 GTS-style Fender Flares for the Porsche is an unfair price.
I want to understand whether there are other offers on the market?

You are right. This is exactly what I wanted to say. Thank you.
I think extending the caps to buy the wings, install them and remove them under the metal part of the inner wing.

Thank you.
It's an interesting idea and very detailed instructions.
I'm afraid that for a street car I can not do nicely and equally on each side and as a result it will look rough.

Have you tried removing the factory rear spacer? You will need to use shorter lug studs and verify brake clearance, but this may give you the clearance that you need. What is the offset or backspacing and width of the wheels?
We manufacture very high quality forged wheels that will fit the 928 without the need for modification. Please let me know if you would like to explore this option.

The S-4 does not have a spacer that was more common 85-86 to kick out the 7 inch rears. With the 8 inch S-4 rear, spacers were not fitted.

I believe he has 18X9 ET27 based on his initial post. Using AO's wheel calculator he need to gain about 1 mm on the outside.

I would try using heavy gloves and giving the rear fenders a pull, to see if you can gain the additional clearance needed.

I realized after I posted those that your post is really about a mild fender roll and the threads might be a bit much for your needs. However, I never get tired of looking at Mark Benton's car and figure nobody else does either .
