Why won't my coolant reservoir seal?
I have tried 2 new caps, one from Roger and a slant from AutoZone, both with the same results as the original, which is pressure leak from the cap area when hot. I have found no damage to the tank and cleaned it up to no avail.
Any thoughts?

Are you quite sure the tank doesn't have a crack - often these only exhibit at temp/pressure and symptoms can look like a cap leak..

what color is your tank??
if its tan,
Brown,
or Dark brown then its time to replace it.
if you have a cap leak ,
its the metal fitting on the tank thats leaking

I just went through this to discover that the coolant level sensor cap was not tight. I finally saw small bubbles escaping around the bottom of the cap. Got almost 1/2 a turn out of it.

Or you could ditch the plastic one and get one of the super cool welded aluminum ones like my wife got me for xmas. It will most likely outlast the car.

Can you answer the question i posted about the color of the bottle?
Note if the sensor cap is loose then you may need to fit a new O ring into the cap,
try tightening it first.
