Someone saw a man stuck in a town 800 miles from home and thought it was a good idea to take advantage of it.
Again, I have a quote here some place for all the parts to do a clutch upgrade and the parts were going to be close to 2500, this did include a flywheel.
What you are talking about is just the clutch "Kit".

I agree, no need to change the arm if it does not need it and I also agree that the "Guy" away from home got screwed in this instance .
I can dig the email quote from Roger out if you would like for me to.
And I did buy all the parts except the flywheel btw, so yea I do know for a fact you can have that much money in one.

Not to mention next day air on all the parts so they could get RKD back on the road, but I am happy to see your quote there Greg on the parts costs. As to if they need them or not, well, that is another story altogether. I can tell you Matt owns an '85 5spd himself and has owned it for more than 20 years and that he only recently sold his '88 S4 auto not to mention I have always felt fairly treated but $hit happens and it seems you can't make everyone happy all the time.

Default More pics

A bit late with these but can't hurt to have too many pics in the thread right?

I had a great time as usual. Good to see all the familiar faces, and met many new folks as well. Of course thanks to all that organized, and to Hampton Inn for having us back (a bit surprising :-) )

This year was unusual though, after all the fun in MF, I had to go to a trade show my company put on in Austin for 3 days. Tuesday night, to close out the show, we rented the Austin Music Hall and hired 38 Special to give a private concert for all the attendees. So between MF and 6th street, and 38 Speacial, I need a nap!

Someone at 3rd Coast bought two 928OC T-shirts from me ($30) and has not yet PayPal'ed the club... I don't remember the name of the person, but YOU KNOW who you are and would you please step up and pay what you owe the club! We operate on a tight budget...
