Yea, sorry I hooked them up...never had any problem with the shop and they have worked on ALL my cars...never had to do a clutch job though...

I appreciated the shop James recommended working me in being out of town and needing a clutch done this week so i could get home. They had me bring my car in the next day after I called. It looks and feels like the shop did a good job. I was however taken aback quite a bit when it came time to pay the bill. I am just used to shops finding parts cheaper. Maybe they need to hook up with Roger, my shop in OKC does when Roger can beat the discount they get at the dealer.

They didn't put down the hours, but Sean and my shop from home says book is 6 hours. The labor cost isn't what bothered me.

Then there should be no problem, many real shops will try to make between 15 and 30% on parts, we have to, we are not working from home, but I know for a fact that you can have 2500 tied up in a singe disk clutch in a heart beat in parts.

If you add 15% to a clutch parts kit on a GTS, you get right around $1100.00. The ****ty thing is to tell a customer that he's got the out dated clutch parts and needs to upgrade to the newer style.............cough..........that comes on a GTS and turn around and charge $2100.00 in parts alone. Someone saw a man stuck in a town 800 miles from home and thought it was a good idea to take advantage of it.
