What is this WUR?
I have this WUR off my 1980 Euro S, but the numbers I can find on it don't match the "086" or "053" or "063" normally talked about on 928s. I'm wondering if a PO has changed it in the past. Can someone tell me if this is the correct WUR for my 1980 Euro S automatic?
Thanks.
Thanks.

In my Bosch EFI list, 036 is listed as used on non-S up to 6/80, superseded by 087, then to 086 on the S engine. It is not listed as used on ANY other vehicle.
Let me know if you want a copy of the pdf...

I have the same .036 WUR in my 81 Euro S #0121. I have a Bosch parts list in German for all the ROW 928S parts, and it looks like they manufactured the .036 for Porsche until June 1980, then replaced it with the .086, so the change probably occurred somewhere in the 1981 build when they ran out of the .036. I can send that PDF document to anyone who wants it. I believe the .086 has an additional internal heater element. Does anyone have a 81S with a stock .086?

My 83 has an 086, and it does have some extra wiring and what looks like contacts on the strip heater. I suspect its to cut the current when the strip is fully bent by engine heat, but thats a WAG.
