This is fantastic. My daughter even knows the significance, she just ran all over the house screaming that Porsche 928 #1 was found. Then she asked if we could have it. Epic win Jim.

WOW! I left this thread on post #7 and went on vacation, came back last night and exchanged emails with Chris on another topic, but he said, "read this before you go to bed," and thank god I didn't! I just can't believe, this is an amazing find. Congrats, Jim and Chris!!

Wow, it's been nearly 3 years since this crazy fun day happened.

I'm back in Virginia Beach area again this weekend to pick up a red 84 that my daughter is finished driving for a while.

Couldn't help but to reminisce about the rush of realizing Jim really found number 1.

I remember the address was sketchy, getting set for our second pass through the neighborhood. From a side road one of us spotted the white car in the backyard. You should have seen Jim slowly walking towards it with a priceless "I found you" look.

What a great day it was!

Lot's of favorite moments including the million quarter car wash and the roll off the trailer into the backyard before the wife gets home.
