Talking (No Free Rides - A$$ Gra$$ or Ca$h)

I have a new 928 MS adapter for that '78-'82 LSD to mount in a '85-up case. $180

(I bought it for my ex-'85. My new-to-me '86.5 5-speed came w/the adapter + LSD.)

What's the difference between a late and early LSD? Are these clutch style or something like a quiafe or peloquin?

'78-'84 have more friction disks, and can be set up for 80% lock, versus the stock 40.

'83-up differential units (open or LSD) are a different size than '78-'82. (Because of the switch to the 4-speed auto?)

'85-up LSD units have larger holes in the sides for better oil flow, but half the disks.

(Note that '83-'84 LSD units will bolt into '85-up w/o an adapter.)

US and the interior is pretty bad. I doubt there is anything worth keeping.

I'll take both if no one has spoken up yet. I've wanted to do this conversion for some time.

It's all yours. Just give me a few days to get it out of the car.

No hurry, I wasn't planning on pulling my transmission again quite so soon.
