Meanwhile, The 928's will be enjoyed.
Thanks for the input...

Enjoy your 928, I know I have definitely enjoyed mine, both S4 and GTS.
On another note, V12's are quite special 😉 and once bitten..........

There is still room in the garage for a V12, and I get that "Intoxicating Aural" vibe of the Ferrari, but the right car has thus far eluded me.
In the meantime, this incredible "Exclusive" build sheet Turbo in Sapphire Blue with two pages of options turned up. And my wife loves it!
Can't wait to get it shipped home and in the garage!
Does not replace a 928 in terms or carrying golf clubs, but it sure will be fun!

Good luck with the V12 search as well 😉

I'm heading out to Monterey in early March, Perhaps we can get together and discuss the virtues of the 599 in person?
Michigan is an automotive desert in winter...
Enjoy,
Dave

the reasons for your searches for newer better cars I went through in 2009 and decided to get the stroker itb set up and the 928 gts is faster and more comfortable than all others I considered as a replacement, though if the visibility of the amg gt were better I would have jumped at that car long ago, just a cool look and feel ...!!
Your approach is the most cost effective by far. To bring a 928 into another performance dimension is a $40k project and if done well, does not detract from its collectability with the exception of the miles. I am considering dumping some enhancements into my 90 GT Outlaw. Should I send Greg my original GT motor or build an S4?
I too wish the AMG cabin matched the aesthetic of the outer design...

It's here!
This thing is soooooo awesome, I quickly run out of superlatives and adjectives in describing the quality of the build and performance of this vehicle.
Not a flattering picture because it is just finished being washed, but this car is in impeccable condition. Full body wrap with XPEL and not a ding anywhere! The leatherwork amazes and the dimensions and weight are nearly identical to a 928 GTS. Only thing missing is usable space for golf clubs! And yes, my wife "Loves It"...
The leatherwork is exceptional and the deviating leather on the vent slats is over the top. Deviating stitching everywhere with 68 options on the build sheet.
Pinch me!
