Default Finally got last piece of carpet.. <sigh>

Finally got last piece of carpet from Robert Bud today.. <sigh>

Asked for PORSCHE script embroidered in red on the velour carpet. Was expecting it to be font like PORSCHE script on the 928's not cursive..

Also got a custom piece done to attach to cover for amp mounted on back of rear drivers side seat to hide it a bit.. Will post pics after get it done later this week...

Go old fashion and call that dude. I suspect he's a guy that will make it right if there's an error.

That doesn't surprise me at all. I got a carpet set from Rob for my 82 a couple of years ago, which took longer than it should have to arrive, due to Robs carpet manufacturer letting him down, and there were some small pieces missing. The true measure of a business is how they respond to a problem ... that response can make them or break them. I rang him and he responded politely and professionally ... and exceeded my expectations with his make good actions.

I would have no hesitation in dealing with him again. A true professional with sound business ethics, in my experience, who deserves the support of the 928 community.

Posts like this, and resolutions like this, confirmed that I will be purchasing my carpet from him as well (when the time comes; happy for now with my crazy spot remover job that I just finished last night).

IMO, you should edit your initial post to reflect that this has been resolved amicably. Rob is a good dude and I wouldn't want someone getting the wrong impression if they don't read the thread. If you just hover over the title it just brings up your complaint.

Maybe so Bill51sdr but my experience with business is what defines them is not so much what they do when things go right so much as when they go wrong. This lets others know Rob is a STAND UP GUY! A mistake was made, of which some was my fault, and he went above and beyond to make it right.
