I've requested to be interned with my set, sorry, you'd have to pry from my cold hands when family isn't looking.

Edit. Interred.

I think he means 'interred", unless he's in medical school.

The Morehouse set is worth the $ over the free download IMHO. You get virtually every tech pub and training manual, plus some other bonus stuff that makes the package better.

You guys know that all of the material used to make these C/Ds is copyright protected, owned by Porsche, and the internet is "forever", right?

While I can understand the occasional single page "copy" of material given to someone to help them figure out a problem, I can't believe that Porsche is going to be happy about someone selling their copyrighted material for a profit.

It's only a matter of time until they become aware of this....and boldly talking about it on the internet isn't going to make them any happier....and you'd guess stuff like this would give them knowledge about what doors to go knock on....

This has been covered many many times. From my understanding based on the many previous threads, inquiries were made about distribution of the content.

IIRC, the copyright is not actually owned by Porsche any more - they passed the rights on to the publisher, who see no further market in the 928 manuals.

If you want to know more, a search for the word "copyright" in the 928 forum should bring up all the info you need
