Rennlist Syndrome
I call it the Rennlist Syndrome. I need to replace the front brake rotors, which includes an upgrade; If I put shiney new x drilled rotors in there that means the calipers will look shoddy in their present condition; that means I must paint the calipers, which means flushing the lines . . . probably should replace the lines . . . where does it end?

StevG, that little brake project is growing on my workbench as we type. New rotors with hats painted in Zermatt Silver and cleared to match the wheels. Caliper paint is waiting, a metallic black that should be just enoughbetter to make you look, not so blingy that you'll know the difference. New brake hoses round out the easy part.
On the OP's car, the tasteful powder and paint look great. The body on my car is black with dirty black undercoating. Ineed a way to either clean the undercoating so it isn't brown at all, or come up with a way to make it all the same color at least.
The painted rear casting has me thinking. I may do a light acid-wash on mine to flush the oxide coating, then hit it with a fog of clear satin to keep it nice. Ditto the front control arms next time they are out.
I need to get with Dwayne soon for a report, as he was sending a test-batch of hardware to a local-to-me plater who will still do the pieces in yellow cad (vs the yellow zinc that most places offer). I have a ton of undercarriage hardware that would respond nicely to some new plating.
It's not a disease. I'm not an addict. I can quit anytime.

Wow!
Impressive work.
I'm working on my suspension - front and back - since March cleaning, painting, plating, powder coating, replacing parts, etc... And let me tell you that it's not half as nice as yours!
Once you start, you always want to do a little more, and more, and...
You're a great source of inspiration for us who want to bring our car to a better shape.
Thanks for sharing.
