Remember that the Europe and Australia uses RON for rating petrol and the US uses AKI (Anti Knock Index according to Wiki - I thought it used RON+MON/2.) whichever 98RON in AUS/EU equates to 93 in the US - so not that special.

This 928 community is awesome. "Tass 928" has donated his good gas tank out of his race car to Garrett's rebuild. Thanks again Tass. I appreciate those that have helped Garrett out on his car. As soon as my employment situation is corrected I will not forget those that have been there for him.

Has any of our 928 fabricators looked into producing a flanged, compression type adaptor to solve this deficiency? With the scarcity of used tanks and cost of new tanks, this could be a very marketable product. I personally have replaced one tank for this reason and may have to replace another on my 5 speed.

Still envious. We have 91 octane here. Its like Baby ****. Thats why I need to run ethanol.
