Funny you should mention that, I was talking with Barry (White Lightnin') 2 days ago and mentioned to him about doing one of the Rennlist NC gatherings at my place.

Even though I am way off center (of the state) on the western side, I told him the prices I would do for everyone of the leftover sale items would make it worth the extra gas needed. If possible I would like to do this before I start listing it all on Ebay(which is the last attempt before getting scrap metal prices fro all of it) in a few months.

Not only can I continue with the crazy used/new parts prices and giveaways, but everyone can use my lift, tools, and the large parking areas I have, to wrench or what ever thay want to do. Adding in a Swap Meet would be the icing on the cake and is a fanastic idea for ALL! Thanks!

Barry said he would talk to Jon B. about it and we can go from there. Let me know if there is anything I can do.

Cheers,

DR, is there any way to list or take pics of the (piles of) stuff that you have available for us on the list? I was dying to make it back to your place, but my schedule didn't allow for it. Had to split Sunday morning.
Seems like it would be better for everyone, including you, if ebay wasn't in the middle of things.

Hi Bob,

Glad it looks like you and your Dad had a great trip together, fantastic.

Thanks for introducing me, wish I could have spent more time with you guys.

Concerrning the Parts, Ebay will be the last option just before the scrap yard... I plan to list most of the major stuff here on Rennlist and on my website first (probably next week)..then try to arange for some Swap Meets and Sales Days here.

Also anyone that wants to visit to get some of the used and new clearance stuff are more than welcome to come by. I can meet people here even on weekends if prior arrangements are made and there are no schedule conflicts.

I am hoping to see as much as possible "in the flesh" here. That is going to be the way to get the best pricing and free parts giveaways... , once I have to start packing/shipping and paying listing fees etc the prices will be different than coming here to "Pick a Part" :-)

BTW, I still have a pile of exhaust stuff here, and as I said before any of the used exhaust stuff is yours free if it will help fix your exhaust.

I will make a separate list of that stuff and send it to you with pics. Not sure if you are keeping or replacing the rusted out headers with the same stuff, But I have a few sets of 85-86 Manifolds here for you if you want to go that route instead.

Have a Great 928 Weekend,

Dave

DR,

We had a great time. A trip that neither of us will ever forget. Thank you so much for all that you do.
Regarding the exhaust, I was planning on saving up for new headers, but when I returned home I found out that my house's cental air died. So, that will likely eat up alot of my car funds this year. I may still want to take you up on your offer.
Thanks again,
Bob

Hi Bob,

I am so glad you guys had a great time, that makes me very happy!!

Sorry about the Central AC, bummer!

Let me know about any of the exhaust stuff you may need, the offer still stands as long as it is still here.

Once again - looks like an awesome time. Hopefully 2012 I'll be able to make the trek down.

Time to un-stick.

Did you forget SITM 2010 already? I'm pretty sure you were there -there is photographic evidence of it!

[yes, we all hope you can make it down again in 2012!]
