I understand he didn't come after all I was looking fwd to meet up with him.
We where the only 928 from Texas and we did get to talk with a lot of RL contacts we hadn't met before.
B and I will be back home tomorrow we're staying over night in Nashville.
Save travels to all.

Here's some pictures, just got them off the camera and picked a few. We had a great three days of chasing AO & Co through the Carolina Mountains (we weren't the only ones... ), hanging around parking lots with new and old friends, hanging out at Dave & Jeannie's, working on other people's cars, and generally getting sunburned (something is PNW folks are not accustomed to!).
Thank you Dave & Jeannie for all of your efforts!!

It was great meeting everyone, did not get time to meet all of course, but would like to say a special hi to my new friends from Jacksonville, Morganton, New Jersey and Danville - It really helped make a great weekend even better meeting you guys!
Jim and his wife very very friendly and gracious as was Dave and Jeannie of course. I saw a lot of people helping others and just enjoying the cars food and oh yeah, beer.
If you don't remember me or did not meet me, I was helping park you guys on Beech Mountain on Saturday. Had the Green Tag Heuer Tee on....
Hope everyone made it home ok! See you next year or maybe at the Frenzy near Dulles in October.
I guess it's time to get my signature and pic setup over here as well huh? Will do soon.

Even though I could only make the Sunday cookout, it was a great event thanks to Dave and Jeannie! Also thanks to all those who helped with the event. As I was leaving, Dave said, why don't you just take the Blue Ridge Parkway to Maggie Valley?
112 miles later, what a great ride! At 5 PM it was cool, ac off, roof open windows down, little traffic, (no one in front of me for over half the ride) great scenery!
Can't wait for next year, hope the serious wrenching that was still going on when I left was successful.

A big thanks to Dave and Jeannie for another great get-together!
It was great seeing everyone, I don't know where the time went, it just flew by. I wish I could have spent more time talking with everyone.
My brother and two sons had a great time. Both sons had at least 60 miles each driving on the BRP. They both did great considering this was their first time behind the wheel of a Porsche!
My brother and I tore up some VA, NC and TN roads! His Subaru Legacy GT with 315lbs of torque at all four wheels was a rocket but! He enjoyed the gravel road in TN much more than I did!
My son commented that he didn't know I could drive like that! Hell I was holding back! Damn Strosek is so low I thought I wouldn’t have much of the bottom of the front bumper left.
He should have been with me in the 88, come to think of it I'm glad he wasn't!
AC died a 3rd of the way down but the weather was great and not a real issue for those who didn’t go because of AC!
Wish I could have come Sunday but we needed to get back.
Can’t wait until next year!
