You're a madman, Abby.
I want a ride in that beast next time I make it down.

I wasn't trying to steer it in that direction at all, but I know how it usually works around here.

That extra 90ftlbs is ridiculous!

Ouch. I know it's probably unlikely, but I hope that at the least you got something worked out with the guy who did that. Defective parts or mistakes can happen, but there should be no excuse for something that critical to not get checked and rechecked very carefully during the assembly of the engine. It really sucks when the customer ends up being the one to pay for mistakes like that by someone who's supposed to be a professional, and that's supposed to know what they're doing.

Well, I wouldn't call it worked out but I did get more than 1/2 of the money I paid and also still had all of my parts. I heard the rod start knocking on the dyno! Had I shelled that motor we may not be talking about this car as it is. Even though I was able to recoup some cash, I can never make up for the lost time...it's gone. It's a good thing that SOB was so far away from me because at one point I was ready inflict pain, and that wouldn't have turned out well no matter what.

Man Abby, you need to get that car up here for one of the gatherings. With the amount of boosted cars now, could be some serious fun.

Kinda dig having "Twin Turbo's" in the garage! Even though one of them is only temporary!!

I really wanted to attend the event last year but with the move and everything going on I just couldn't make it. I moved here from Ft.Worth back in 1990. And my brother lives in Arlington, so every now and then I do make it to that area..usually don't have the 928 though. Who knows though, I may put it on the trailer and bring it if we go to DFW for a visit.
