I have an account with 3M. I get it from their national distributor for this range.

I only stock a few different styles, but I can get any of the hundreds of designs.
I know I can equal the eBay prices. I might even be able to beat it by a small margin. The minimum size would be 5 sq. ft.

I know Di-Noc works well on the S4 wing, but I have no clue about the rubber S spoiler. If there ever was a silicone based protectant applied to it, I doubt anything would stick.
I could send you a small sample if you want to try it.
Before I started my project, I drove around for a month with a patch of Di-Noc on my PT Cruiser

I have wrapped my H-trim piece in Di-Noc Carbon Fiber. This stuff is really easy to work with once you heat it up. I don't have a heat gun so I'm putting grimy black finger prints on my fiancee's new hair dryer (don't tell her). You need to have patience and take your time with these wraps if you want it to look good.

One really important thing I want to highlight is the use of 3m Primer 94. It is supposed to improve adhesion around the edges of the pieces you are wrapping. I DID NOT use this on the H-trim piece on the console as the tube shipped to me was all dried out. If the Di-Noc delaminates around the edges, I will simply remove it from the trim and redo it. So far, saturating the H-trim in 91% rubbing alcohol has provided enough of a base for adhesion of this stuff.

On the downside to using Primer 94, it is VERY HARD to remove if you become tired of the wrap. Removing the Di-Noc from a trim piece leaves a small film that is removable with Goo Gone. However, if the piece has been exposed to Primer 94, you will need rubbing alcohol and something to scrub it off with. This is where damage to vehicle trim can occur.

Next up is the central warning, door lock, and AC switch panel. On a side note, make sure your CF wrap goes in the same direction or it will look like ****!!

Pics will follow when I am done!

For those interested, I was able to come to an agreement with my supplier and can now supply Di-Noc to those who want to give it a shot.

I can do the carbon fiber @ $4.75 per square foot + shipping
I have black, brown, gold and silver in stock

I can do solid colors and other designs @ $4.25 per sq.ft. + shipping

If it's not something I have in stock, the minimum order is 20 sq.ft.

If it's something I hold in stock, than you can buy as little as one square.

Thanks

Paul

This is CA-421? for black right? This is an amazing price. Also a question for Paul or anyone else have they seen what gunmetal looks like in person? It is CA-420 interested in that color.

CA-421 is indeed black carbon

I don't have CA-420 in stock, but I have a sample of it. It is really nice.
Email me an address and I will send you a piece.

One thing to note is that not all Di-Noc are designed for full exposure to the elements. Both CA-420 and CA-421 are.

Paul,

Do you also carry the 1080 series - thinking of doing a full wrap with the flat silver metallic.

Frank,

not sure what series you are referring to. All 3M Di-Noc have serial beginning with 2 letters which designate the sub category.

There are 2 flat silvers in the PA line: PA-045 and PA-179 which is more of a platinum than silver.

And yes, if it's 3M Di-Noc, I can get it.

I am thinking of using the silver one on my shifter plate as well as wrapping all the ***** in my car on the pod and climate control.

The great thing is you can remove it as long as you don't use primer 94 if you get sick of it.

This is not the Architectural Series - the 1080 series includes the matte finishes intended for full vehicle wraps. I just thought that if you had an account with 3M that you could get other products as well.

Paul, supposedly 3M is coming out with another Di-Noc that mimics the texture of vinyl trim pieces on European cars. The pattern is actually similar to the vinyl and plastic trims on our cars. I don't have a number from 3M but was wondering if you have it in a catalog or something?

I have the one that matches the texture of the black plastic in the 928.
I have that one in stock.
