Question Rear shock pin dimensions

Hi,
If anybody would have a rear shock pin in hand, I would need dimensions please.
Total lenght, diameter and tread section lenght.

As I will need two when I'll get the other ones out, I will probably try to machined some in Stainless 316. Thanks Jon for the the sugestion.

Mine are all so damaged right now that I can't mesue the lenght.

Thank you very mutch.

Thank you Tom.
If I can't get some here (machined), I will try 928 Intl for sure.
I will need some more parts too so I'll get in touch soon with them and Roger.

Thanks again.

I wouldnt use stainless for these parts, use carbon steel just like whats in there
In the mean time order a set from 928INTL used will work fine as long as they are straight use antiseize on the pins prior to installing them

If your looking at stainless I would suggest looking at 17-7Ph, 17-4PH or 15-5PH. The mechanical properties are far better than the 300 series stanless. Tensile around 190ksi vs 80ksi for 316.

Used pins are only $35 a piece from 928intl. I've been through this, and I wouldn't think about using custom made stainless in the hopes of preventing this problem in the future. You could be introducing other potential problems...

If you lubricate/coat the new ones properly, you likely won't have this problem in the future unless you go a really long time without removing them (in which case, that will be a really long time from now)

Ok, FWIW, my measurements: overall length 320 mm, center section 264, threaded part, each end 28.

On my pin dia ranged from 21.95 to 22.00. There's a 3 mm bevel at each end of the center section.

Good luck, you're due for a break after what you've been through with the old ones!

Thank you guys.
Good news, no VERY GOOD NEWS, one pin is out!
Once both are out, I'll let you know how I (we) did it.

Ah, I have fallen prey to that sentiment one too many times. How it comes back to bite you...
