Default Garage, Car, Bike, Boat, Parts Moving-Sale

Hi All,

I believe I will be selling my 87 Folding Wing 928 S4, a spare S4 64k Mi motor, a spare freshly rebuilt LSD Auto Trans, tons of parts, BBS LM race wheels, and TONS of other stuff. I will be posting the list hopefully in the coming week.

I expect to be moving out of country in the next 60+ days, and have to get rid of all the stuff, as I can't take it with me.

It is not that I want to do this, as I have not finished my project, but I have had to make VERY, VERY hard decisions, and this seems the best route. The car has DEVEK II headers, wit dual 3" stainless exhaust with X pipe, Koni Hypercoil suspension, I also have a Motec M8, Ign Expander, and a bunch of other really expensive race stuff that will have to go as well.

Some of you may know the car, and some maybe don't. I have to make a list of items in the garage, and it is as long as hell, and have little time, so it may take a few days/weeks..

I also have a 24ft Formula 242LS Power Boat with a brand new 496CI Crate motor, IMCO XR Drive, Stellings Extension Box, full hydraulic steering, Merc 380 Race tabs, full camper top, bimini cover, and an aluminum trailer. I have a spare 588CI 700Hp motor in parts, a procharger M1SC intercooled kit as well as a spare Bravo1 Drive for the boat. The new motor has never seen salt water.. Can't take that stuff with me either, so it has to go..

I also have 2 Ducati 900 SP's for sale:
1995 superlight - Has Original Ducati Factory Race Carbon fairings, pipes, seat, Keihin Carbs, V2 cams, White power suspension, and front STI adjusters. This is a one of a kind bike, never seen another like it..

1996 stock 900SP 125/200 - Stock in every way..

Once I get the list done, I will get some prices and pictures. I don't expect to get top dollar for everything, as I would like to see the stuff go to a good home rather than bitch about a few bucks between friends in the community. It REALLY RIPS MY HEART INTO 1 MILLION PIECES to do this, but like I said, I have had to make REALLY, REALLY HARD choices...

Thanks,

Man, tough choices is an understatement! Must be a great opportunity.

I will try to make your tough choices easier by buying some of your stuff. Would love that Ducati!

Man that's tough.

I had a 95 900SP - put 25k miles on it before I sold it and was really sad the day it went...

But as it appears that you need to part with your fun stuff, GLW all the sales.

What happened to the supercharger project? Did you end up making any parts for it?

Richard,
Sorry to hear you need to sell everything, you have some great machines.

I was also woundering how your supercharger project was progressing. Hadn't heard anything in a while. I was very interested in your design. I still haven't done anything with my 928 Specialist's prototype.

Good luck with the sale.

Step 1. Load it all up in a big *** U-haul, drive it Sharks-in-the-Park on May 7.
Step 2. Drive empty U-haul home.
Step 3. Profit.

Sorry to hear of your need to liquidate, gotta be hard. But hopefully the decision turns out for the best in the long run.

I'm interested in the spare engine and tranny. Let me know via PM your pricing. I'm a committed newbie to 928s so I'll be carrying on the tradition as you move on. Based on the groans of my 89S4 and out of paranoia I want to stock up on spares.

Best of luck.

Will you be returning at some point? Perhaps you could put the stuff in storage. Will cost a bit, but perhaps less than taking a bath by having to liquidate quickly.
