Wonder why it relisted so fast. I suspect the buyer, his wife, and her frying pan had a discussion.

I think that is the same as saying "No Reserve".

Guess he didn't try to pass it off as an AC compressor like I did when mine arrived.

I would guess that whoever actually owns the kit did not want it to go so cheap, so they bid on it themselves (or a friend) to make sure it did not sell. No other reason for it to be relisted in less than a day. They might as well put a reserve on it and be done with it. They obviously don't want to sell it under a particular price.

Watching it. Also seeing people already bidding it up. I think I'll wait until the last minute and put a bid in of 4k.

I say that and will watch the shill bidding begin, then I'll bid $2500.00 and it will be relisted again.

According to the Rennlist archives, Kevin was originally wanted $4500 OBO for this kit a while ago. Potsiewebber offered him the most and bought the kit. That number was never listed, but it sounded like it was under the $4500.

Also in the Rennlist archives, AO is correct that Kevin ran this SC with only a screen for a while and no filter.

The bidding is closed and looks like there's a winner.

Someone got a hell of a deal.

It looks like a different bidder won the auction this time. However, it also looks like the winner of the first auction was also bidding heavily in this one, which is consistent with the shill suspicions.

If you say so.

I looked into buying this kit and a couple of things came up, first is that it was ran with out a filter and was rebuilt, but by who and why? so to me that is a big question IE, is the head unit any good?

Lets say that is is good, now lets look at the kit itself, this one is far from being a full kit, it has a intercooler that did not come from Tim and many other parts that came from who knows where.

To get this back to the quality levels that we think of with Tim's kit, I have gotten from a very good source that $3,700 is the "about number" to make it complete and up to snuff with a stage three kit.

When you add 3700 to the price that the kit is going to be sold for and you are close to a one one from Tim.

Now this is not to say that some one can not make this kit work, and possibly work well, it just looked like far more than I am willing to do.

In the end, I am just saying to any body who is thinking of buying this kit that it is not a Murph kit as it sits now.

Another question is, since it is not a Murph kit who is going to be able to give tech help with the question that are sure to come up?

The person that buys the kit can not expect Tim to spend a lot of time trying to straighten out a modified kit.

Maybe Tim will read this and give his thoughts on this kit.

Again I am not saying that there is any thing wrong with this kit, just that there are too many questions about it for me to be interested in it at anything even close to 2500.
