I'm proud to say I did not bid. Had to use my left hand to hold back my right hand, though. Kind of a Dr Strangelove moment.

I bid on it early, but have too many projects already to really try to win. It looks like someone got a great deal if the parts are as described.

Dang, missed another one. What did it go for?

It was Kevin Michael's old kit that potsiewebber bought for the frankenstein GTS. Kevin was actually selling it. It started life as a stage 1 and ended up being modded by Kevin himself (see archives).
I did not bid either, but thought about it. It ended up going very cheap, $1925 or $1950. Incredible deal. I really thought it was going to take off. It sat at the sale price for 2 days...

Whoever won it padded his winning bid twice today before the auction ended, so who knows how much it would have went for if someone else would have started bidding.

My thinking was that I already have all the bits to hack together a frankenstein system, but I don't have time to mess with it. This would have been somewhere in between all the hacking and debugging required to make my frankenstein system work and the ease and perfection of just buying a new Murf kit. Since my time is so limited, better for me to wait, and just buy the new kit and get all the parts, all the instructions, and the support. Still, I wanted it.

I wonder if they will be bidding this time?
