The main roller has a circlip in the middle of the shaft and determines the position.

Question Need Washer ID

Getting things back together now.
But I have a mystery washer.
It was in the baggie marked "tensioner" so I assume it has something to do with the tensioner arm/pulley assembly (I didn't remove the tensioner). I did the last t/b/tensioner job, but I can't recall where this washer went.
It's about the size of a nickel (20mm od) with a 10mm id (first pic). The 10mm fits over either side of the rounded warning light pin that sits against the spring and snugs into the carrier arm (2nd pic), but Dwane's, Pirtle's & Kelley's writeups don't really show such a washer.
Does this look familiar to any of you guys?
BTW, my car has a pivot brace which apparently isn't on earlier cars - at least <85. I don't see any writeups featuring a car with a pivot brace.

The washer provides a seat for the spring so the spring is not riding on the plastic electrical insulator (The PET shows the washer in that location too).

From Dwayne's famous writeup https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...re-w-pics.html, his photo showing the assembly before removal. Note the location of the washer in front of the spring in this photo..

Now from the same writeup, here's Dwaynes photo showing after reassembly. Note the missing washer in front of the spring...

Thanks Borland! That was my guess, but I didn't want to zip everything up & realize that I guessed the wrong spot for that washer.
The second pic in Dwayne's writeup is what I was focused on. I wonder what Dwayne did with that 'extra' part...
