Default Parting a complete '84 Euro S

I purchased a Euro S donor to get the G28/10 5 spd that it has as well as the headers, center console and some other misc bits. As I put my '84 Euro back together, I will be parting the donor car. There is already a sale pending on the cams/towers and the intake and throttle body. What will be available is:
-Heads that according to records were rebuilt. When I get the cam towers off, I will do a leakdown on the motor to determine the overall condition of the motor and heads.
-Euro H4 headlights $350 PENDING
-G28/05 5 spd without LSD from my current car. Works great. Only issue is that you cant downshift to first without stopping. All other upshifts and downshifts are fine. $600
-Euro S airbox to fit larger MAF
-OEM radiator from 5 spd $250
-Original early manual sport seats in tan leather. These are the rare early model and the car was optioned with them. Pass side very nice, driver needs to be recovered. A couple of the vendors on this board will do the job for $800.
-Just about anything else you can think of from an '84 Euro.
-I do not wish to pull the remaining motor and ship separately. I will sell it with the car as a roller. The body is a non sunroof car so it could make a nice track car. It also has Bilsteing/Eibach susp on it which I will not remove because then the car won't be a roller. The car has a clean/clear title. It even has the original Fahrzeugbreif (German title) that came with the car when it was built.
Also have extra set of the 16x7 wheels from my car. Will sell for $50 each plus ship. Wheels are good, tires are shot.

If you have been looking for a specific part/parts, PM me with an offer. That is how the cams, intake and TB are already spoken for. The car is currently on a truck and I will be receiving it shortly. At that time I will begin to pull the parts I need as well as sold parts and start shipping within a couple of weeks. Basically, I hear that the going rate for parts is about 1/2 of the rate from a vendor. I am sure that if you are looking for something, you already know pricing. PM me an offer.
I am located in Louisville KY so if you want a bunch of stuff and can make the trip, feel free to do so. I am also throwing out the offer that if someone close by can do the trans swap with me and help out, they can pick over the car for parts. This is not my business, so I will probably ship items one day a week once I start pulling them so please don't be in a rush.

Am I missing something? This appears to be a pretty complete car.
So what was it that led to it's demise?

Nothing is really wrong with car. I just wanted certain parts(G28/10) and it is not worth a project to me at the current prices these are bringing. It has some running issues and I would rather spend the time on my car.
What is a G28/10 worth when you can find it?
What is a Euro S that has some issues, a tatty interior and needs a full repaint worth? Probably less than the trans. After seeing what I want and need for my Euro, it is far more cost effective to buy a donor car complete.

Every bit of my education and business background agrees with your logic.
And I benefit from parts.

Its hard to watch somebody put a horse down for convenience, or justify it on pittance-sized $.

That thing is in better shape than the ones 70% of us start with. Why not put it back on the road and forego the money if you don't really need it.

Time.....I really don't want a project and I want the trans from the car. My current car is enough of a project at this point. It also has some running issues and I don't want to figure it out. Besides, I already committed to sell the cams and intake.
I understand why people hate to see these cars go to pasture, but we do need parts and there were lots of these cars made. It's not exactly a Ferrari 250PF.

I have had some PM's saying that the car should be saved. If it is that sentimental to some, I will sell it all after I take the trans and other parts that I need. It would be a non running car at that point but complete with all necessary parts, just a G28/05 trans. However, there are commitments to the cams and intake already and one is a moderator here. If someone wants to pay for the car after I get what I need and they can have the replacements from my car, I will check with the committed parts buyers to see if they would forego their parts to save the car. No money has exchanged hands. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening because nobody stepped up and purchased the car when it was posted here before I decided to buy it.

Basically, I hear that the going rate for parts is about 1/2 of the rate from a vendor.
$350 for a set of H4's is full rate of said vendors, in fact.
Have you inspected the H4's closely? The lower mount is plastic and has a tendency to break (esp. if you're not careful on disassembly). When broken, the headlamp will rock, which is annoying.
If you're going to offer premium pricing, make sure you have your "ducks in a row".
Just a friendly suggestion.

Also, people like pics...

Parting a car out is no simple task (I'm told)

Pull the trans and sell the car as a "sans trans" car and let someone else put a different tranny in it and keep it running.

Parting this car has touched a nerve with some people and I am not trying to offend anyone. I was the only one that stepped up and purchased the car after it was posted in the classifieds here. I purchased it with the intent to make my car a better car since I had removed my motor after a TB break. Since I am going to be swapping for the desirable G28/10, possibly the headers and some other misc parts, I don't see how anyone here will want to buy it with my current G28/05 and the other parts from my car uninstalled.
I will gladly put all parts sales on hold and sell the car as a whole roller with clean/clear title if someone is willing to commit to it. It will have all parts needed to make it a runner, just not all installed. However, I really don't see that happening. For all of you who PM'd me, I will respond tonight if nobody steps up. If not, I will part the desirable parts and continue as planned.

Also, the car is not an excellent running car, it has some some running issues. In fact, it did not start for the pick up by the carrier yesterday. I would bet it is electrical in nature or vacuum related, but I don't know. That is why I would be doing a leak down on the motor to make sure the heads or motor have no issues if the car is to be parted.

Where did you buy this car? It looks familiar to me. Was it a FL car?

Won't a '84 (ROW) have a G28.07/08?

G28.10/11 is '85-up?

Yes, the car was in Cape Coral FL until yesterday when it was picked up to be delivered to me. Prior to that it was in Winter Park for years and German Car Service of Lakewood did lots of work on it. Do you all know anything else about it?
A previous owner swapped the trans on this car to the current G28/10. I realized my car was swapped to a G28/05 from the 07. I purchased the car for the better trans as well as some other misc. parts as I put mine back together.
