Just clicked over 200,000Km. Oil and oil filter change, spark plugs, Temp II (when it arrives from Roger...shortly). Checked belts (all appeared OK), checked auto fluid levels (OK and changed 20,000KM ago). Road tested (;-) ) All feels ok!

As part of intake pull, I finished up with new O rings for the injectors last night. Buttoned her up today and had a good start, and idle, while inspecting its operation.

Took out most of the interior other than dash and pod for redying with Leatherique. Fixed outside air temp sensor and temp setting motor. That was a PITA! The setting motor is hard to get to when the seat is out, wouldn't even try it with the seat on the rails. Made custom dead panel and front speaker panels out of aluminum and will polish tomorrow. Now that almost all mechanicals are sorted, I am starting to see a flicker of light at the end of the tunnel.

Installed front Koni red shocks on wife's car, 86 USA.

She's put over 30,000 miles on it in 5 years.

Meanwhile, she's over 800 miles from home, driving the Platinum Metallic 85 USA car. Long trips --- what the 928 does best!

Replaced my NASTY MAF, and 9 of 10 elbows (LRE's) in the engine bay.

Just need the 4x and the 5x and they will be almost all done. Hard lines were in place and flexed easily.

This thing needs to be running well, it's driving me nuts!

I know the feeling. If only it could tell me where it hurts.

I just replaced the vacuum pod for the center flap and tested the HVAC system yesterday. Today I'm going to tackle the new water pump, belt and Porkensioner that I just received from Roger.
Thought I'd get this done this summer before driving to L.A. for Escape 2013 in October.

Replaced fuel pressure dampeners. Checked relays, fuses, replaced a couple of the original relays for good measure, though I resent the plastic covers that come on the new ones....>Elsewhere, my MAF was checked and confirmed good,

Replaced a FPR with a new one, tweaked the SC tuning, messed with my bumper, and raised the ride height by 1/2".
