Got the timing belt change on the '80 wrapped up, engine runs very nice. A few "small" items more (blue hose , rear cam gaskets) and the engine compartment is done (for now). She runs pretty nice I have to admit.

Put the Shark in the garage with my suspension guy to install S4 springs all the way around (Thanks Kevin!)
and new Bilsteins on the rear (front already has them). Adjust ride height, align, rotate, balance.....

Can't wait!

Checked the crank to thrust bearing play, it measured fine at 0,18 mm. Installed a PKlamp and checked the rear pinch bolt-it was tight. And I dripped paint into my eye trying to mark the pinch bolts.

Default Fixed my sunroof switch

Removed the sunroof switch, opened it up and cleaned the inside. Put everything back and it worked. Enjoyed a drive with it open.

Had new Hankook V12s put on the car and RF balanced. Smooth as glass. Also had the AC resurrected on the GT (sat for 10 years) and had to have expansion value and o rings replaced. Had work done at Roux's Garage in Berlin, MA, highly recommend if anyone local Mass guys need AC work.

Took 100 mile drive up to Maine house and car ran great and AC so cold had to turn temp down!

Hankook tires very quite vs old Bridgestone Potenza 050s and also seem softer, not as jarring over bumps.

After replacing the ds spindle and the wheel hub bearings & seals on both sides went for a nice drive in the GTS.

A month previous the ds wheel hub inner bearing completely failed

Buttoned up the engine on the '80 and drove it for the first time since grabbing it with the flatbed in the beginning of the year. Pretty amazed how it runs and how good in shape brakes/suspension/other mechanicals are compared to the interior/paint. Someone definitely took care of the car at some point, and the relatively low miles probably help too...

Put some gas in it. I've driven my 1981 daily for the past year since I resurrected it from a 12 year nap and sit in Los Angeles smog last year. Good luck to every one else who has a WIP (work in progress) or full blown project Like Airtek. It just seems to get better the more I drive it...

Replaced heater hose feeder line over the weekend. No more coolant leaks.

Replaced the CPS. I'm getting better performance and response from her. So far, no more cut out on acceleration issues in the high heat.

I was stopped by two body repair workers while driving around town. Saw the dents on both back sides of her and flagged me down. For $450 in the parking lot of a 7-11, they pulled out, filled and primed both dents. (I was quoted $5,000 (included paint) by two shops because she was Porsche)

Did a pretty decent job. Maybe a little more filler in some spots and just a slight tap to get rid of a missed low spot. All I need to do really is just bring it in for sanding and painting and clear coat and she'll match right up!

I put 18" Panamera rims on the car. Sold off my 17x9 Cup 1 replicas. Wow what nice fit and look. Must lighter rim too. There's another set on eBay for $650. Can't go wrong. BBS quality, 18x9 size and good fit. Rear rims could use a 15mm spacer though but not bad as is. Pictures coming soon.
