Porsche was kind of oddly imprecise with some of this stuff ... I recently saw a copy of the hardcover GTS brochure and saw a number of odd things. Like in one photo they show Cup 2 wheels (which the later cars had) but between the spokes were cross-drilled rotors. Probably actually from a 993 TT or some other model, I would guess. And then a couple of pages later, they have a picture of an S4 front caliper and rotor.
Must be that when their advertising agencies prepared to make up brochures, they gave them whatever images they could scrounge up ... without worrying too much if they were components actually being used for a given model year ...

It appears as if Low Miler purchased the car. If he saw my post here, maybe he owes me a finders fee

Michael, we all thought you got this one! I guess Todd got it! I keep trying to sell one of your white ones for you to a guy in Del Rio, but he has not jumped in yet. If you do ship a GTS to Del Rio I want a finders fee! LOL!

I can't decide if I should kick myself for not purchasing it to flip. I figured with the BIN price, transport and then paying taxes to register it, I would be at @37k. How much are these really worth right now? To make it worth the risk and time involved, I would have to sell it for $40. I am not a dealer and don't carry a dealer license.
I know what they are asking on EBAY, but as Willhoit said, he has 5 and has had some of them for a bit. What are good GTS's actually selling for? There is a higher mile silver 5-spd out there right now asking $28k if I recall.
Great deal for a personal keeper or for a dealer I convinced myself.....

Doug,
Trend seems to be $ goes up as the miles go down.
And this one carries the 5 speed premium, which is greater due to their rarity among GTSs.

This car is worth anywhere between $55K-$70K. Willhoit could probably sell it for north of $70K, while Todd (low miler) would probably sell it for around $60K. Regardless, it sold for way under it's actual value and the new owner, or flipper, made one helluva great buy!

Agreed, IF its the real deal and is really in good shape (impossible to tell from those pics) it's worth at least $55K but probably more. Problem is that no one knows the maintenance history and this could reduce a great deal of the profit.
It's a gamble until someone gets a close look at it.
