Oh, that happened a loooong time ago. I don't know though, those heated sports seats are calling my name.

Congrats on what appears to be a really nice example. I think this car was originally sold by Hendrick Porsche in Charlotte. If so, I remember seeing it on the lot when it was brand new! There aren't many black/classic grey 5-speeds out there.....

So as I type I am in Charlotte NC waiting for a connecting flight to Charleston for business next week. I wish I had time to drive over and take a look at this beauty.

So Jim and Sue, you need to do a couple of things right away....

1) Horns, I see horns, big ones, on both of your cars. We know how to do this

2) Names, you gotta have names for your cars. I'm thinking Stevie and Paul or "Ebony and Ivory". Though I don't care for that song it would be fitting.

Congratulations on a great find. Call Demoise Trucking. They are near the car and provide excellent enclosed transport and are very 928 friendly.

Get it checked out and then DTSOOI. I mean it. You don't need a museum piece.

Excellent!! It will be in my area. I am feeling real happy for you two. Let me know if you need storage or a place to transfer it for a short time. Hell, I just may as well be honest. I WANT TO SEE IT!!

I talked to Bill Demoise yesterday, great guy but doesn't have a truck headed our way anytime soon. He gave me names of three other companies that he would trust, we'll follow up with that on Monday.

Don't know yet, until we have a chance to go over it carefully. We'll certainly keep it nice, and it's not super-low miles so we won't feel bad driving it moderately. Heck, Sue's GT has 180K now and is looking pretty nice.
