So how tight is the noose? Feeling very robbed of power or just somewhat?

Had this issue with my 944 in Texas! Hardly as hardcore as the storm-troopers out there though I'm sure. He had a photograph of what the engine bay should look like in a 1983 944 and is trying to use it to verify things are hooked up right.

Had a 16V 944 engine from 1987 in it. He brings the picture up of the line routings for the 87 S - still not the same

- I tell him, it has a 944S2 intake manifold on it. Brings up the S2, of course all the routings for electrics / fuel / vacuum are radically different since the car is an 83 - SO

I tell him just shove the sniffer up there it will pass just fine. And it did - better than the majority of the cars tested lol.

Tony:

Glad to hear it wasn't as bad as it could have been after all. Congrats.
