I have no affiliation with the seller or this car except trying to help a gracious and nice lady sell her GTS. She emailed me last night and explained she still had her car and was ready to sell it, again.
I looked at this car three years ago when I began my hunt for a 928. It is a well maintained low mile car (37k miles) in one of my favorite colors, Midnight Blue. It is fully loaded to include the original factory phone and side strip delete.
A little history, the seller, is the original owner of the car. Her husband bought the car for her on her birthday. She had always wanted one since she saw her first one in 1979. She is a designer and has an eye for style. Sadly, just a couple of months after picking up the car at Tillman Porsche in Santa Rosa, CA (where it has been serviced since new) her husband was killed in a plane crash. She has treasured and maintained the car to a very high level since then.
What I know about the car. It is totally unmolested, has every piece of documentation, to include her original phone notes when she and her husband were shopping for the car. The car ran great and she had a very orderly set of files regarding maintenance history. I cannot attest to the state of the thrust bearing tension. The engine has never been cleaned, the dealership told her to never get water in the engine compartment and so the dust you see in the pics is all original![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
There did not seem to be any oil or fluid leaks when I inspected it. I can assume it will need the general maintenance items performed, TB/WP fuel lines, etc. They may be fine as she has maintained the car to a high level.
I believe this is a very early model 1994 as it has the older Cup I style wheels. Someone can run the VIN to confirm. The car looks like new and ran very well when I last saw it. The owner tried to sell the car two years ago, I posted about it here, but she was asking $43k. She had a couple of low offers she refused and in the end it became an emotional decision to keep the car. She needs to sell the car now. Financial considerations has brought her the decision again.
You might be asking yourself "Why didn't you buy the car Dan?" Well, I thought it was too expensive for my wallet back then so I bought the Turquoise Metallic project car for less.......... and have since embarked upon a long financial sojourn that in hindsight would have been much shorter and less expensive had I bought the GTS, and heck, S4ordie sounds so much better than GTSordie![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

That engine compartment makes me want to donate an hour with a sponge, soapy water, towels and some 303 spray. Hell, I'd detail the whole thing for her if she was local. Not a lot of interiors in that kind of shape, though. I hope she gets every penny of $38K.

Tom, good call...you are correct... that info is not completely correct Jarrod as the driver seat does not have lumbar support.
That is a near clone of Chuck Z's car there! Really, REALLY pretty car! Someone in TX buy it and bring it here! It is also a near clone of Bruce's '93 GTS out of SA!

LOL! Damnit Jarrod, GET IT RIGHT! LOL! Just messing with you bro! I know you are just reading what it says, but I do find it funny that so quickly we can see where a mistake was made, yet on so many cars we only have the numbers to go by so it makes you wonder how many other things are wrong about the cars we look up...
Love the car a friend of mine in Del Rio is looking for a GTS but thinks he wants white (call Willhoit) but man this would be a GREAT car for him! I have passed the info along, so maybe we WILL see it in TX! Who knows!

Where is it located? Santa Rosa?
I like it....the classic gray-midnight blue is very nice.....a quick thrust bearing check can add some piece of mind to potential buyers..... but the price is very good given a nice condition, documented GTS with low mileage......
