Glad to see the amazon green GTS' come out of the wood works.

James: Dave has an amazon green GT, and Jane has an iris blue GTS. At least that's what it was last time I talked with them...

Nicole,

You are of course right...I was thinking they were BOTH GTS's for some reason! Just losing my mind! Then I realized I was just hoping there was someone else crazy enough to own TWO GTS's! LOL!

Your assessment on these points are incorrect. I have looked at this car twice over the previous three years.

This car has not been driven hard ever. The original owner was a very nice lady who loved the car for its looks and not for it's ability. She took it above 100 mph once in all the years she owned it. She had every receipt for every maintenance item on the car since new. It was extensive and showed regularly scheduled maintenance as well as minor repairs. Ask the dealer for these records. They most definitely should have them.

This car was a gift from her husband who died a few months later in a plane crash. She kept the car all these years for sentimental reasons. She had been selling it under financial distress and obviously finally caved into the first real offer.

It is a very solid car that needs some update of a number of things to make sure it is reliable and safe (replacing the fuel lines for example). The car ran good two years ago. I did not perform a ppi or check the flex plate pressure.

This car could have been purchased a few months ago for $29k. It's current price is too high but you can offer less.

Yes, that's my GTS, purchased from another Oregon owner. Serial number 5082, 5 speed with classic gray interior. PO put GT cams an Ott exhaust on it.

Thanks for the kind words, Tom! Restoration is going slow, but steady.

Still got 'em. Mentioned to Jane a couple of weeks ago the random thought of getting Iris up-to-date maintenance-wise and selling her. Jane damn near knocked me into next week

Doesn't Roger have two?

Tires may have been installed by the dealer selling it. If they are flipping a car they will not put PS2s on it.

You should know better than suggest to a woman that you want to sell her car...

How long did you have to stay in the dog house? Did you ever get out of it again?

I don't know if Rog has two or not, but I kind of leave the guys who are actually making a living off of 928's out of the equation as technically anything they have can be written off against business expenses. As an out of work guy, I don't get to write anything off! LOL!

As a husband, isn't it my place to always be in the dog house?
