I've completely removed the pSD unit, and went with an LSD.... the PSD light still comes on when the tires break loose. The light and PSD function is controlled by the ABS conltroller (at least some model years).

I've found it much easier to not have a wife ... asking permission or begging forgiveness doesn't seem to be required by girlfriends

So in all the time I have spent on Rennlist my wife has not once seen or read a single post.... until now.

Rob, unfortunately this was the first one she read. I just spent 20 minutes explaining what a stroker engine is versus what she thought a "Stroker Club" might be.......... Please be careful with the terminology as she asked me "So you and Rob are in this 'Stroker Club' together?". "Well yes, I will be when Greg Brown finishes building the engine for the Turquoise car". My wife, always with sharp wit says "If Rob is anything like you, I'm sure the two of you will be president and vice president of the Stroker Club".

I love my wife

Then out from the box jumps Dan H., wearing some man pasties!

"Hey, it's my Stroker Buddy!"

Please remember that before you are eligible to run for Club Officer positions in the Stroker club, new members must be subjected to and survive the hazing from long standing members of the Stroker Club....

yes the puns were intended.

Andy,

I speak from years of experience here. Over the past years I have probably spent a small country's GDP on cars and boats.

I look at it this way. Whenever I am faced with the dilemma of wanting something and asking her(wife) for permission, I have found in the past not to ask but to go ahead and buy first, then tell her. I know I will always get a huge "you know what" from her when she finds out, and a few days of the silent treatment followed by some sort of reverse buying revenge. But after it is all forgotten, I still have whatever I bought.

Me? I have a dry sump that pulls vacuum so I don't have breathers. There's a breather on a special box I made that sits on top of the resevoir but the crankcase is sealed.

Mike, the ITB setup is a thing of beauty. Even if i never install one on my engine, I need a set to put in a glass case with museum lights on it for my office.

For folks playing along at home, it instantly vaults the engine bay to leading-edge status.

And a mechanical work of art. The precision and function is absolutely amazing.
