Submit a request to me and I present it to the board. The request should outline what your plans are with Leroy and how you can maintain and improve it while under your care.

Interesting, I thought it was your car and your call.
Who does the board consist of if I can ask?

(and no, my name is not in the hat)

leroy is an 80 would it have the same torque tube as an 82? And how hard is it to replace? I could take it off my 82 928 that is a parts car and donate it or is this something that needs to be purchased new?

Leroy does not belong to me. It is owned by a hand full of 928 enthusiast whom wish to remain annomious. I just serve as a go between.

The TT did need some attention when I had it. I did quite a bit of other stuff, but the TT bearing at the front kept moving forward, causing some vibrations.

I was wondering the same. Mrmerlin?

If Stan got the car, the next steward would be one lucky Leroy recipient (NTTIAW with Brendan's run). Just sayin'.

I don't think anyone, ever, loaded up a 928 more than we did for last year's Hell, MI. 4 people, with luggage, 4 cases (24bottles) of beer, 3L of Rye, small tent, camping chair, pillows and a tool box. We were all in the car for over 3 hrs. One of the beer cases was on top of the centre arm rest, I could barely shift.
